Do Your Candle Jars Meet ASTM Standards?

We've all heard stories of candle jars and vessels cracking, breaking, or even exploding. This is a hazard that can result in fires and injuries. To address these issues, the National Candle Association worked with ASTM to develop standards for candle making.

One of these standards addresses the quality of the glass used for the candle jar or vessel and sets procedures and thresholds for testing scratch resistance, temper, and thermal shock.

Wherever you buy your candle jars and vessels, be sure that they meet the ASTM standards. All the candle jars and vessels available on our website have been tested by a 3rd party to ensure they meet the ASTM standards for candle jars and vessels.
