Qualifying for Bulk Purchasing
Eligibility for the program is determined by the quantity of clamshells, tins, or jars you plan to purchase within one year. For wax melt clamshells, bulk pricing begins at quantities of 25,000 pieces or more. Bulk pricing for candle jars and tins starts at around 2,000-3,000 pieces depending on the size.
How Does It Work?
If you qualify for the bulk program, you will begin by signing a blanket PO that declares your commitment to purchasing a specified quantity of wax melt clamshells, candle tins, or candle jars. Your unit pricing will be determined based on the overall quantity to which you commit. The higher the commitment, the lower your unit price. You can then take releases of the product(s) at any quantity at your request as long as you reach your full commitment within a year of the start of your PO.

]]>Centering the wick in your candle is a vital step as it ensures the candle burns evenly and uses the wax efficiently. Our candle tins feature a circular indentation on the bottom that makes it quick and easy to consistently place your wicks.
Our tins come equipped with raised feet on the bottom. These feet create a buffer between the tin and the surface beneath, effectively minimizing heat transfer and preventing any potential damage. This allows your customers to enjoy your candles without fear of heat damage to their table or countertops.
The last thing you want is for your beautiful candle tins to succumb to the effects of rust, tarnishing its appearance and compromising its structural integrity. With our rust-proof coating, you can rest assured that your candle tins will maintain their pristine condition, even after repeated uses and exposure to moisture.
]]>PET plastic is known for its recyclability. Unlike PVC, which often contains harmful additives like phthalates and chlorine, PET is a more inert material and can be recycled easily. In fact, PET is one of the most recycled plastics globally, finding new life in products like clothing, carpet fibers, and even new PET containers. By choosing PET over PVC, we hope to reduce our carbon footprint and promote the recycling and reuse of plastic.
Concerns about the health impacts of PVC led us to seek an alternative for our wax melt clamshells. PVC contains chemicals such as phthalates and bisphenol A (BPA), which are known to leach into the environment. PET, on the other hand, is considered safer. It is approved by regulatory agencies for food contact and is widely used for bottling beverages, packaging food products, and producing medical equipment like IV bags and surgical sutures. Therefore, we felt it was the safest material for our clamshells.
PET plastic offers versatility in its applications. It can be molded into various shapes and sizes, allowing us to craft unique sizes and shapes for our wax melt clamshells. Moreover, PET is lightweight yet durable, providing excellent barrier properties against moisture, gases, and odors.
Another advantage of PET plastic is its energy efficiency during production. Compared to PVC, which requires higher temperatures for processing and emits harmful byproducts like dioxins, the manufacturing process of PET involves lower energy consumption and fewer emissions. Additionally, PET can be produced from renewable sources like sugarcane or corn through bio-based PET, further reducing its environmental impact and reliance on fossil fuels.

One of these standards addresses the quality of the glass used for the candle jar or vessel and sets procedures and thresholds for testing scratch resistance, temper, and thermal shock.
Wherever you buy your candle jars and vessels, be sure that they meet the ASTM standards. All the candle jars and vessels available on our website have been tested by a 3rd party to ensure they meet the ASTM standards for candle jars and vessels.

]]>The first step is to email brad@cindarn.com with your vision and style of packaging desired (wax melt clamshell/tart, bath bomb clamshell, candle box/packaging, candle vessels, etc.). In the email, include the dimensions, volume, number of cavities, material, colors, artwork, quantity, and any other specifications. If you are uncertain on any of these details, our team will help you iron out the details.
Once we have received the specs for your product, we put together a quote and usually have that back to you in 2-3 days. The quote will show you the unit price for your project at different order quantity levels. You select the preferred option, submit a purchase order, and we proceed with tooling and sample production.
Two weeks from that point, you will receive a physical sample of your project. This is a unique step in our process as other manufacturers will only provide a drawing at this stage but we feel it is important so that you can get your hands on something to ensure it meets your expectations. At this time, you are invoiced for the tooling fees only.
Upon your approval of the sample, we initiate the production run. It usually takes 8-10 weeks from this point until we receive the shipment of your product. When we have your project ready to ship out from our warehouse in Baltimore, we will reach out to arrange freight. We can make the freight arrangements for you or you can make the arrangements yourself. When the project ships out, we send the final invoice and that completes the process.
We look forward to working with you on your custom wax melt clamshells, wax melt tarts, bath bomb clamshells, candle boxes, candle vessels, or any other custom packaging needs.

We are also more than happy to arrange shipping through accounts that you have with any of the carriers. Email brad@cindarn.com with the information and we will make the arrangements.
